Buccaneers Owner Announces Premium Sponsor Carlos O'Bryan's

On Wednesday May 29th the Nanaimo Buccaneers Junior Hockey Team proudly announced an agreement with Carlos O’Bryans as a major Sponsor for the 2024-2025 Season.  Present at the Buccaneers Meet & Greet/Player Signing Ceremony was owner Elaine Nelson-Hosack who was beaming with enthusiasm to officially announce her support to the Buccaneers.

Elaine and her team from the finest pub in all of Nanaimo were on hand to catered the event.  The Carlos team extraordinaire will be present at every Buccs Home Game bringing a new level of “Have Fun,” to serve and entertain fans all season long.

Additionally, the NEW Carlos O’Bryan’s Party-O VIP Suite has been completely updated with a flat screen TV, new flooring, and furnishings, just in time for the Season Opener.

Nanaimo Buccaneers Owner Nicole Brandenburg was overwhelmed with emotion describing Elaine and her commitment to the Buccs. She exclaimed, “All I have heard is ‘wait til you meet Elaine and you will then see what supporting local really means!’  They were right!  She is amazing and we are full of gratitude that she and her team have joined us.”

Carlos O’Bryan’s chefs were on hand at our event to provide nothing but the finest cuisine to well over 100 guests in attendance.  All attendees were overheard raving about the food.

Elaine said, “For me to support Nicole and the Buccaneers truly feels right, and like a full circle moment for me. I know all too well the challenges to fulfill a dream and in Nicole we have a lot in common.  I am so excited to work with Nicole and her Team and bring the Buccs experience to a whole new level for its fans and friends of the team.  Nicole being 100% local means a lot to me.”
