The Buccaneers travelled to the Q Centre for a rare Wednesday night matchup against the Westshore Wolves, coming up short in a 4–2 final.
Nanaimo struggled to find their rhythm, surrendering three power-play goals in what proved to be a sloppy, penalty-filled game. Despite the setbacks, the Bucs found the net twice thanks to strong efforts from rookies Rhys Wilcox (5th) and Madden Cruickshank (12th).
The team will look to bounce back quickly as they hit the road again on Friday, heading to Lake Cowichan for a showdown with the Kraken. Go BUCS Go!
