Nanaimo Buccaneers

🚨TRADE ALERT🚨

The Nanaimo Buccaneers and the Saanich Braves completed a one-for-one trade on Tuesday, December 2nd.

The Buccaneers have acquired 2008 right-shot defenceman Boston Cripps, sending 2007 forward Koen Gauthier to Saanich in exchange.

Gauthier leaves Nanaimo sitting second in team scoring with 11 goals and 7 assists, and the organization extends a sincere thank-you for his contributions both on and off the ice. The entire Bucs organization wishes Koen all the best in his continued hockey journey.

Cripps adds size, stability, and a much-needed right-shot presence to the Bucs’ blue line as the team continues to strengthen its defensive core. So far this season, Boston has appeared in 25 games, recording 4 goals and 10 assists, showcasing his ability to contribute at both ends of the ice.
