The Nanaimo Buccaneers dropped Game 2 of the VIJHL Championship Final by a 5-1 score, evening the series 1-1 as it shifts back to Nanaimo.
The Bucs came out flat and surrendered four unanswered goals to the Victoria Cougars, they return home with a split and a chance to respond in front of their fans Monday night.
In an unprecedented schedule change, Nanaimo has been forced out of its regular home rink and will play its remaining home games at Frank Crane Arena. Game 3 goes tomorrow night, with puck drop set for 7 p.m.
All tickets for these “Home Away From Home” games are just $5.
