The Nanaimo Buccaneers are proud to announce that alternate captain Dreyton Hayward has committed to the Mount Royal University Cougars in Calgary, Alberta.
Dreyton was a leader on and off the ice throughout his time in Nanaimo, earning the respect of teammates, coaches, and fans through his work ethic, determination, and team-first attitude. His contributions played a key role in the Buccaneers’ success during the 2025-2026 season.
Nanaimo Buccaneers Management and Coaching Staff extend our congratulations to Dreyton on this signing and commitment.
