The Nanaimo Buccaneers secured a convincing 4-1 victory over the Port Alberni Bombers on Saturday night in Port Alberni. The Buccaneers’ win was fueled by strong performances from several players, including Ethan Nordli, Kai Verbrugge, Jaxin Karst, and Ryan Christenson.
The Buccaneers’ power play unit scored one goal on seven opportunities. The team’s penalty kill unit was solid, allowing just one goal on nine tries.

The Buccaneers outshot the Bombers 30-25 and led the scoresheet in penalty minutes, taking 48 minutes compared to the Bombers’ 18.
