Bucs Battle Hard in Oceanside, Remain Tied for First in the North

The Nanaimo Buccaneers came up short in Oceanside, falling 3–0 to the Generals, but still remain tied for first place in the North Division.

Despite the result, the Bucs battled hard on the second half of Parents Weekend, keeping Oceanside’s offence in check and staying structured defensively. A few near-miss chances at the other end could have easily changed the momentum, but the bounces didn’t go Nanaimo’s way.

Even in defeat, the compete level was there—shot blocks, tight coverage, and steady penalty killing kept the Bucs in it from start to finish. With a big home game up next, Nanaimo shifts focus quickly and looks to respond.

Next up: Thursday, November 20th vs. The Westshore Wolves at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.

Puck drops at 7:15PM — Go BUCS!
