The Nanaimo Buccaneers dropped a 3–1 decision on the road against Oceanside on Saturday night.
Nanaimo trailed early and was unable to solve the Generals’ netminder until the third period, when Nate Hughes (4th) found the back of the net to get the Bucs on the board.
Between the pipes, Aaron Pichette turned aside 20 shots to keep Nanaimo within reach throughout the contest.
The Bucs now look to regroup, hosting the Lake Cowichan Kraken at the Nanaimo Ice Centre on Thursday, January 8th. Puck drops at 7:15 pm. 🏴☠️ Go Bucs Go! 🏴☠️
