The Nanaimo Buccaneers are proud to announce that 2025–2026 starting goaltender Aaron Pichette has committed to play Division III hockey for Beloit College.
The 20-year-old Pichette appeared in 29 games this season, posting a 19-7-2 record along with a .918 save percentage, helping lead the Bucs to a North Island Division title. Aaron was also named to the VIJHL All-Star Team.
Pichette becomes the first player to earn a Division III scholarship directly from the Nanaimo Buccaneers program.
