Nanaimo Buccaneers General Manager Bill Bestwick is pleased to announce the signing of LW Curtis Freeman.
Born in Mississauga, Freeman joins the Bucs after spending 48 games in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) with the Caledon Admirals, where he recorded an impressive 21 goals and 31 assists. A strong, powerful left wing, Freeman brings both offensive production and a physical presence to the ice.
Head Coach Tyler Gow commented, “We are thrilled to add Curtis to our Team for the playoff push. Adding a player of his calibre as we prepare for the balance of our season is exciting for our players. We look forward to Curtis elevating all our players with his leadership skills, competitiveness and energy.”
It is anticipated that Curtis will make his home debut wearing #94 this week.
