Balanced Effort Lifts Bucs Past Bombers

Two rookies — Rhys Wilcox (3rd) and Nate Barclay (3rd) — led the way as the Buccaneers skated to a 3–1 home-ice win over their rivals, the Port Alberni Bombers.

Veteran forward Porter Williamson buried the game-winner and his second of the season, while goaltender Aaron Pichette was solid between the pipes, stopping 26 shots — including 14 in the third period — to secure the victory.

Next up, the Bucs hit the road Saturday, November 1st for a matchup against the Islanders at the Kerry Park Arena.

Locked, loaded, and laser-focused — the Bucs are all business at the NIC. 📸 Photos courtesy of @dalystyle on IG
