BUCS COMPLETE SERIES SWEEP

The Nanaimo Buccaneers delivered a dominant performance Saturday night, shutting out the Campbell River Storm 7–0 to complete a four-game series sweep in front of 912 fans at Rod Brind’Amour Arena.

First star Madden Cruickshank and third star Jack Barrett each scored twice to lead the offensive charge for Nanaimo. Nate Barclay, Casey Rutland, and Lukas Needham also found the back of the net as the Buccaneers built period leads of 2–0 and 5–0 before sealing the convincing victory.

Between the pipes, Tanner Ferrill was outstanding, stopping all 38 shots he faced to record the shutout and backstop the Bucs to the series-clinching win.

With the sweep complete, the Nanaimo Buccaneers now advance to the North Division Final, where they will face the Comox Valley Glacier Kings. The tentative start date for the series is March 12th.
