The Nanaimo Buccaneers kept their point streak alive with a thrilling 4–3 home-ice victory over the Comox Valley Glacier Kings.
First star Porter Williamson led the charge offensively, recording a goal (4th) and two assists in a standout performance. Defensemen Dreyton Heyward (3rd) and Davis Young (who netted his first goal of the season and the game-winner) also found the back of the net, while Jack Barrett (3rd) added the other goal in the hard-fought win.
The contest came down to the wire, with veteran goaltender Aaron Pichette standing tall and making several key stops to secure the victory.
Next up, the Bucs head south for a Sunday matinee matchup in Victoria against the high-flying Cougars, before returning home Thursday, November 13th to take on the Campbell River Storm. Puck drop is 7:15 PM — Go Bucs!
