Bucs Trail 2-1 in North Division Final

The Nanaimo Buccaneers came up just short Tuesday night, falling 2-1 in overtime to the Comox Valley Glacier Kings at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.

After trailing 1-0 for most of the game, the Bucs showed resilience late in the third period when Dreyton Hayward found the equalizer to force overtime. Goaltender Tanner Ferrill was outstanding in net for Nanaimo, turning aside 43 shots and earning first star honours.

The Buccaneers now look to bounce back in Game 4 tonight at the Comox Valley Sports Centre. Puck drops at 6:45pm.
