Nanaimo Focuses Forward After Tough Night

The Nanaimo Buccaneers (28-11-2, first in the North Division) battled hard in a tough matchup at the Panorama Recreation Centre, getting goals from Kane Law and Madden Cruickshank, but ultimately came up short in a 5–2 decision.

Goaltender Tanner Ferrill earned third-star honours, turning aside 32 shots and keeping the Bucs competitive throughout the night.

Despite the loss, Nanaimo remains atop the North Division standings as they look to regroup and bounce back strong.

Next up, the Buccaneers return home on February 12th to take on the Saanich Predators at the Nanaimo Ice Centre. Puck drops at 7:15pm.
